Where to Purchase
Every once in a while I stumble across a product that I want to share with you, only to find out it isn't readily available where I live. After trying the Original flavor of Green Tea Mints from SEN CHA Naturals while I was traveling a few weeks ago I knew they'd be of interest to my readers, especially those of you who stop by for Tuesday Tea. So I reached out to Sen Cha Naturals and they sent me an assortment of their products to share with you, including five flavors of mints packaged in some very nifty cardboard canisters.
When I first opened my package one thing was immediately clear to me, SEN CHA Naturals put a lot of thought in to their design. Their line of mints are shaped like tiny leaves and come with not one but two different packaging options, the Eco-Twist tubes you see in the photo above and a more traditional metal canister. I have to say, I really like the tube, it's the perfect size for my purse. I was slightly worried about the twist design, but even after my mints bumped around in my purse all week I didn't have the tube randomly pop open, spilling mints everywhere (unlike a certain mint competitor whose name just might begin with an A. Those darn tins are always popping open!) I also love that there is a 3 leaf rating system on the label letting you know how strong the mint flavor is. I don't particularly like my mints to be overpowering, so this gave me some advance warning of which flavors would be stronger, helping me choose a mint that was more appealing to my particular tastes.
Speaking of tastes, the flavor of these mints are spectacular and like nothing I've tried before. If I had to choose a favorite flavor it would be a tough decision, but the more I think about it the closer I lean towards Tropical Mango. When you pop one in your mouth for the first time the juicy flavor of mango explodes on your tongue. Then again, I really enjoyed the spicy bite of the chai flavored mints and the refreshing sharpness of the Moroccan mints. As I said, it's been a tough decision to pick a favorite, but at least there is a flavor to fit my every mood. The only flavor that I didn't enjoy was dragon fruit. I found that it had a somewhat soapy flavor to it that was rather unappealing. It could just be that I don't care for dragon fruit. I tried to track one down this week to see if that may be the problem, but I live in a small town and dragon fruit proves to be a bit illusive here. I see them once in a blue moon, but apparently our small town grocery store isn't stocking them right now.
Would I order this again? Absolutely! As soon as I run though my sampler pack, I'll be picking up more of the Tropical Mango flavor.
In an effort to be open with my readers I want to let you know that SEN CHA Naturals has provided me with a sample free of charge. As always, all opinions are my own.
