Happy New Year everyone!
The first day of January is finally here and that means national hot tea month has begun. To celebrate we'll be having a special multi-part series on Thursdays in January for those of you who are new to drinking tea, or perhaps are considering trying it for the first time. Hopefully it will answer some of the questions you may have about the world of loose leaf tea.
This week I'm going to spend my time sitting inside where it is warm, pointedly ignoring the fact that we have several feet of snow on the ground.
Whether you rang in the new year sober and asleep or your night was one of drunken debauchery and parties, I hope you had a great New Year's Eve. I stayed at home where it was warm, ate the last of the Christmas leftovers for a late night snack, and fell asleep on the couch. After such a stressful month, catching up on some of my missed sleep was the perfect way for me to ring out the old and ring in the new. Hopefully I'll start off the day, and the new year, slightly less sleep deprived and in a better disposition.
Check back on Thursday, January 9th for our first post in the series. I'm on vacation this week while my husband recovers from surgery. I'll see you next week.
