Review:

This is another tea from Della Terra that takes me back to my childhood, fourth grade to be exact, when all the "cool kids" would buy caramel dipped sour apple suckers at the dollar store and bring them to class for snack. I never was a fan of the suckers, but I was a fan of profit, so bought them by the bag and sold them to my classmates for $0.25 each. What can I say, I was a resourceful fourth grader, and the profit off a bag of suckers was great.

This tea fails to remind me of chocolate dipped apples on several levels. First of all, this didn't have as much chocolate in it as I had hoped for, but since I'm not a huge fan of the chocolate flavoring Della Terra uses, that many not be a bad thing.  When I think of chocolate dipped apples I think of something sweeter like Braeburn or Gala apples, which have a milder flavor and are slightly sweet. In my opinion, the flavor completely misses its mark because it is so artificial tasting.

By now you might be thinking that I didn't enjoy this blend, but that isn't entirely true. I did like the fact that this was a blend of green and black teas, I think that really added to the flavor. I was also surprised by the fact that once this had cooled off to room temperature the taste somewhat resembled a tart apple cider.

This is another tea that I wouldn't drink on a regular basis, but is just novel enough for me to purchase again in the fall near apple season.

My Rating: 71/100

Would I order this again? Possibly. While I found it a little lacking, it would be a fun addition on occasion.
